Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a visionary Senior Project Manager to oversee the capacity and resources of our team. This pivotal role is not only about ensuring productivity and efficiency but also about bringing innovative organizational strategies to enhance our operations. As a key liaison between Lunar and our clients, you will not only enhance customer experiences and meet client goals with precision and professionalism, but also lead the way in shaping how we organize and execute our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Capacity Management: Maintain optimal billability and resource allocation, including planning and forecasting.
  • Project Execution: Manage the scheduling and delivery of projects, ensuring timely execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze project data to track delivered versus planned capacity and monitor burn rates.
  • Support Oversight: Handle our support board, ensuring efficient ticket delivery and management.
  • Client Communication: Facilitate effective communication and meetings between Lunar and our clients, enhancing client relationships.
  • Invoicing and Reporting: Prepare accurate invoices for continuity projects and deliver detailed reports on key metrics such as billability and budget forecasts to management.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work alongside POs to create value for our clients with your expertise. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Scrum & Agile: You have a broad experience with these frameworks and are able to guide teams towards self management.
  • Resource Management: Expertise in optimising team capacity and resource distribution in collaboration with the PM of the build team.
  • Strategic Planning: Proficient in managing complex projects within established timelines.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and coordinate effectively across teams.
  • Problem Resolution: Skilled in identifying issues and implementing solutions promptly, with a sharp focus on appropriate escalation.
  • Adaptability: Agile in adapting to evolving project requirements and environments.
  • Customer Orientation: Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving client satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Nice To haves

  • Advanced Technical Skills: Familiarity with advanced project management tools and software beyond our primary platform, Orbit, is highly appreciated.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the tech or software development industry is a plus, especially in a client-facing role.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are valued, though not required.
