With an innovative approach combining Craft CMS with advanced geocoding and search technologies, Let's Connect provides a scalable solution that automates the creation of business pages for every company listed in Belgium's KBO database. This initiative is designed to enhance online visibility and user engagement, democratizing access to digital marketing tools for businesses of all sizes.

What we did

  • Periodic data importation from the KBO database

  • Integration of a content calendar with social media templates and hashtags
  • Implementation of a payment solution using Mollie
  • Development of an advanced business search engine with distance calculation
  • Utilization of Craft CMS, Geocoding API, and ElasticSearch

Core Deliverables

Our primary objective was to develop a platform where businesses could effortlessly manage their online presence. By integrating the KBO database with Craft CMS, we provided automatic page creation for approximately 2 million businesses. This integration allows companies to claim and customize their pages within minutes, enhancing their visibility without heavy investments.

Technical Enhancements

The platform's robust features are extended with high-performance solutions for data management and search functionalities. By migrating media assets to AWS S3 and utilizing Elasticsearch, we ensured high responsiveness and scalability. This infrastructure upgrade facilitated a dramatic improvement in search capabilities and page loading times.

The integration of Elasticsearch and geocoding technologies has reduced search times dramatically, from over 10 seconds to under 3 seconds, even with complex queries involving distance calculations. This efficiency has significantly improved the user experience, encouraging more businesses to engage with the platform.
